Bio
Quigley James began writing songs at the age of 13, teaching himself to play guitar, piano and bass, augmented by some formal training. His writing covers several genres including worship, country rock, rock, and kids songs. His roots come from such groups as The Beatles, The Eagles, Elton John, Tom Petty, and the like.
This New England native quickly found a home with various rock bands during the 1970’s and throughout the 1990’s, playing in clubs, colleges and concerts throughout the Northeastern US. He has also recorded three CD’s to date and his vocals and playing can be heard on numerous projects.
In April of 1999, Quigley was ordained as a Worship Leader/Psalmist and continued writing songs for adults and children alike. His ministry…Pureheart…has taken him to three continents where he has taught songwriting and worship leading.
He is, at present, serving as the Minister of Worship at New Life Fellowship in Plainville, CT. He is also the owner of 4th teepee records and 4th teepee on the right music, (a music production company) in Connecticut.
Quigley currently resides in Connecticut with his wife, Elaine of 42 years.They have five children and oodles of grandchildren. . Fourteen to be exact.
His mission as directed by the Lord of Hosts is to write songs that glorify and lift up the name of Jesus and to teach people how to go deeper with the Lord and to lead them into His presence through worship in spirit and truth.
